Christine Daaé is the new singer of the Opera and the main female protagonist of the novel. She thought Erik was the angel of the music. Christine is in love with Raoul but she fell pity for Erik.

Monsieur Richard is one of the managers of the Opera.

Raoul is the Viscount of Chagny. He fall in love with Christine, and they wanted to be together but Erik don’t let them do it. But finally he and Christine had a happy ending.

Monsieur Moncharmin is one of the managers of the Opera.

The phantom/Erik is a man that pass himself off as the Opera ghost and terrify everyone in the Opera. He is in love with Christine but she doesn’t love him. He is physically deformed and he is one of the male main characters.

The Persian is a man that know Erik’s past, so he knew the whole story of his sad life and provides information about him. He helps Raoul and Christine from Erik.

Carlotta is one of the Opera’s singers, she is jealous of Christine. Erik sabotage her performance because he wanted Christine to sing instead of her.

Joseph Buquet was one of the scene-shifters, he was a quiet and hardworking man. He was the person he started the rumours of a ghost in the building.

La Sorrelli is one of the Opera’s best dancers.

Meg is one of the young girl in the corps de ballet.

M.Debienne and MPoligny are two managers who were retiring from the opera.

Madame Giry is Meg mother and she is a box-keeper.
