Through the dossier “Bite the bullet” we are learning a little bit more about the wars that existed in the past and, unfortunately, some of them are still occurring nowadays. For example, in Asia we have two conflicts like the Israel-Palestine war and another one in Syria. Probably, there are more of them but sometimes the governments hide these conflicts or the newspapers have a censorship, so most of the times it’s totally impossible to know the real truth. 

 

In this picture these young boys might be doing like a type of war camps, basically training them to learn how to fight. However, in some cases that is not the reality, they could be in the area that the war is happening. 

 

In the background, I can see some trees and behind them, a type of house with a wall covered with what I think that must be a fence. In the foreground, there’s a line of young boys holding a stick, pretending to be a riffle. On the left side there are two boys that are taller that the ones on the right, so they must be older. These boys are wearing shorts and a blazer and, underneath, a turtleneck shirt. On the left side as well, there is a boy that seems to be on his twenties. He’s wearing a round helmet, a jacket that must be expensive for the type of material that is made of, and finally trousers and gloves.  

 

In conclusion, this situation is not as weird as we thing it could be. Definitely, those boys show a sad look although their face is not. It may be a difficult situation but, unfortunately, in some cases is the only way to make the country “work” correctly
